Faith Nielsen, Author

On her journey through life, Faith has been a biochemist, an expert in the field of radioactive materials, a computer systems analyst, an entrepreneur, a teacher and a sculptor. Faith graduated from Middlebury College and has advanced degrees from Yale University. And now, with the release of From Here to There and Back with a Quack!, she adds "children's book author" to her list of stops along the way. Faith is a subscriber to the ABC Children's Group at the American Booksellers Association.

Pat Macintyre, Illustrator

Pat Macintyre is an accomplished and respected artist in the Washington, D.C. area, specializing in large, expressive works executed in acrylics and pastels. A graduate of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., Pat has been active in the arts community of Northern Virginia for many years. Her Saturday-morning free art workshops for children are a popular tradition in the Reston arts community.
